Short introduction of RECINCO

HISTORY:

RECINCO was “born” around 1970 as a division of the large Belgian Polyurethane Foam manufacturer RECTICEL.  This division separated in 1990 via an MBO from the holding company and became an independent insulation contractor.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  • Development of formulations for special types of polyurethane foam (PUF)
  • Production (blending) of the polyol component for the PUF
  • Design of insulation systems for storage tanks
  • Semi-industrial testing of the insulation systems
  • Design and construction of the required puf machines for onsite spray application of high quality puf on cylindrical storage tanks and in particular: semi-automatic PUF application machines for vertical cylindrical tank walls and for loadbearing insulation of tank bottoms

  • Application/installation on site of these puf insulation systems on large industrial storage tanks (steel and/or concrete). The storage tanks insulated by recinco are used for storage of following liquid products at following temperatures:

    • Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) at temp. + 50 °C to + 90 °C
    • LPG (Butane, Propane) at temp. – 5 °C to – 50 °C
    • LEG (Ethane, Ethylene) at temp. – 90 °C to – 104 °C
    • LNG at temp. – 160 °C
    • NH3 at temp. – 30 °C
    • CO2 at temp. – 30 °C

RECINCO’s insulation systems are suitable for following parts of the tanks

  • Tank Wall

  • Tank Roof

  • Tank Bottom
